The "Tower of the Sun," designed by Taro Okamoto and the symbol of the 1970 Japan World Exposition, still stands proudly with its brilliant design even after more than 50 years.

A local version of a roadside station, offering fresh local vegetables and rice.

Villa Retreat is located near the point where three prefectures meet, at an elevation of 450 meters.
From Myoken-san (600 meters high), you can enjoy a panoramic view of both Osaka and Hyogo.
Unfortunately, the cable car service was discontinued in December 2023, but don’t worry — it’s accessible by car.
On a sunny day, bring a lunch and enjoy the breathtaking scenery!

At the entrance of the Miyama Community Center, there is a stone monument dedicated to Mr. Keiji Oue. He was a key contributor to the village after World War II, introducing improved toilet and a health insurance system.
Our guesthouse, Villa Retreat, is actually his birthplace.
